Poolside Energy is a research and technology company in oil and gas minerals. We work state by state, and we start with the owners other tools miss.

Those are heirs no one has identified, estates, owners whose address of record no longer works, and people a state is holding money for. Finding them means joining pooling orders, escrow ledgers, trust registries, and production reports that no single source puts together.

I am a co-founder of Poolside Energy, where we identify ownership buried deep in public records, then make it legible: where development is headed, which acreage sits in its path, and what the underlying interests are worth. Poolside also invests in mineral, royalty, and non-operated interests on the strength of that analysis, so the work has to hold up with our own capital behind it.

I have fifteen years of experience in the oil and gas industry tracing title, untangling heirship, and closing complicated transactions across all major basins. Most of the work comes down to helping owners understand what they own and what it is worth, so they can make a decision they are comfortable with, whether that is selling, leasing, or holding.

Our work today is concentrated in Appalachia (the Utica and Marcellus across Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania) and the Haynesville of East Texas and North Louisiana, with ongoing work in the Uinta Basin in Utah, the DJ Basin in Colorado, the Powder River in Wyoming, and across Oklahoma.
